Privacy

In short

  • No cookies, ads or tracking of individuals. We count how pages are used anonymously, without storing IP addresses or any visitor ID.
  • In the free analysis, the AI answer you paste never reaches our server; it stays in your browser.
  • The only personal data we store is the e-mail you type into a “Tell me when it’s live” form. We delete it whenever you ask.

Who we are

GEO Asked Agent (geoasked.com) is run by Abdullah Yılmaz, founder of Fastemy, who is the controller of the personal data on this site. For any privacy question or request: contact@fastemy.com.

Mailing list

If you type your e-mail into one of the “Tell me when it’s live” forms, we store:

  • your e-mail address
  • the page language and where the form was (analysis result, pricing or footer)
  • the site you analysed, if you signed up from an analysis result
  • the sign-up date
  • a short hash made from your IP address. We don’t store the IP address itself; the hash only stops repeated sign-ups from one place and is deleted after a day.

Why: to tell you when Premium opens. We don’t sell the list, use it for ads or share it with anyone except the infrastructure provider below.

Legal basis: your consent, given by sending the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), KVKK Art. 5(1)). For the IP hash, our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).

How long: until you leave the list. To leave, reply to any e-mail from us or write to contact@fastemy.com; your entry is deleted.

Free analysis

Site scan: the site address or brand name you type is sent to our server. The server reads that site’s public pages (robots.txt, homepage, sitemap, llms.txt), identifying itself as “GEOAskedBot” or “GEOAskedCheck”. If you typed a brand name, it searches Wikidata and tries addresses like brand.com to find the site. The result is kept in Cloudflare’s cache for 1 hour (brand lookups for 1 day) so a repeat request is fast. Nothing is written to a database. This information is about a website or brand, not about you.

AI answer: you open the questions in your own ChatGPT, Google or Claude account; what happens there is covered by that service’s privacy policy. The answer you paste back is read and processed only in your browser and is never sent to our server. The paste button reads your clipboard only when you press it and your browser allows it.

Anonymous usage counts

To see which guides help and where people come from (for example Google, ChatGPT or LinkedIn), each page view and a few actions (starting an analysis, moving to the next step of the analysis, opening the questions in an assistant, the mailing-list form, copying text, an outbound link) send a small record to our server. It holds:

  • the page path and language
  • only the domain of the site you came from (for example chatgpt.com) and any utm tags in the link
  • country (two-letter code) and device type (mobile or desktop)
  • the action’s name and a short detail (for example which assistant you opened, or the type of analysis result). The site you analysed and its score are not written to these counts.
  • date and time

What we don’t keep: cookies, IP addresses, visitor IDs, browser fingerprints or full browser details. So we can’t tell whether two visits came from the same person; the records don’t identify you. The counts don’t go to a third-party analytics company; they stay on our own server (Cloudflare).

Why: to measure and improve the site. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)). How long: 25 months, then deleted.

If you don’t want your own visits counted, open any page with ?notrack=1 at the end of the address; this browser won’t be counted again (?notrack=0 undoes it).

Bots: we also count which bots fetch llms.txt, llms-full.txt, agent.md and analyze.md (the name the bot gives itself, for example GPTBot; the file; the country). These records are not about people.

Stored in your browser

We don’t use cookies. Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) keeps the following, and it never leaves your device:

  • geoasked:az2:…: where you are in the analysis, the category and location, and the answer you pasted, so a reload picks up where you left off.
  • geoasked:sub: a flag that you joined the mailing list, so the forms don’t ask again. Your e-mail is not stored here.
  • geoasked:notrack: only if you opened a page with ?notrack=1; keeps this browser out of the anonymous counts.

You can remove these at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Technical logs and infrastructure

The site runs on Cloudflare. As with any website, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. Beyond that, we use no ads, social media pixels, cookies or analytics tools that follow individuals.

Who we share data with

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, caching, the mailing list and the anonymous-counts database (Cloudflare D1, kept in Western European data centres). As our infrastructure provider, under its own privacy policy.
  • Wikidata (Wikimedia Foundation): if you typed a brand name, only that name is sent, from our server. Your IP address is not.

Cloudflare is a global network, so your data may be processed and stored outside your country. We share your data with no one else unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (if you are in Europe) and Turkey’s KVKK (Art. 11) you can ask to know whether we process your data, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and withdraw your consent.

Write to contact@fastemy.com; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your local data protection authority or to Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Authority.

Children

GEO Asked Agent is for businesses and site owners. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we update this policy, we change the date at the top. For a significant change, we tell the people on the mailing list.
